My last post was on November 30, 2022.

Wow!

How has it been 14 months since I’ve been here?

Life. I suppose the answer is all things life.

I was promoted at work in November 2022 to oversee a larger team and expanded business functions, and that makes a whole lot of sense as to why it’s been a while.

I have been feeling the push to write here again. It brought me so much joy to share pieces of our life and my heart, hoping that others may feel heard, seen and less alone. Maybe even entertained or encouraged!

So, here I am again. Restarting imperfectly. Not letting another day go by where I talk myself out of writing. Shushing the annoying voices in my head that say “no one cares”. Perhaps that is true. And that’s okay! Because I truly enjoy blogging, and it is so important that as a wife, mother to 3, and manager to 10 that I create and protect time and space for things I enjoy as an individual.

This tiny corner of the internet is one of those things!

The boys are getting so big!

So, what happened in the last 14 months?

Cliff notes version:

  • Several very tough life circumstances in our extended family that have stretched and challenged and grown my faith and our family’s love and support for one another in big ways.
  • Our first family trip to Disneyland.
  • A new motorhome that has led to the most wonderful adventures, including a CA to TX roadtrip!
  • Our preschool years came to end, and we currently have a Kindergartner, 1st grader, and 2nd grader.
  • Finding our place in a new-ish church home.
  • All the tough parenting moments equally balanced by all the sweet ones.
  • Tons of hiring on my team at work that has been such an incredible learning and growth experience for me as a manager.
  • My husband has found a passion of his own in his YouTube Channel, and I love seeing how it lights him up to create these videos each week.
  • Diving back into hobbies that I love – planning and planning products, reading (now have a Kindle… love it!), exercising, and now blogging again!

Life lately?

Life lately has been mostly about family, and I am here for it.

We pulled the boys out of the after school program at school for several reasons, and that has created more time for them to just be kids at home and see their Grandma and Papa.

We’ve been spending tons of time in the desert with my family.

I message constantly with my siblings, laugh regularly at videos with my cousins and best friends, and am planning various trips to spend quality time with family and friends this year.

Lots of things over the last few years have given me such perspective that prioritizing my family and loved ones will always be what matters most. 💜

And now?

Now, I sign off for today so that I can enjoy this beautiful sunny day out at Superstition Mountain with my boys.
